Basket full of beasties
The platypuses, seahorses, octopuses and what-not are all ready to be driven to Belgium this weekend, where they will be sold (or so I hope, of course!) in the new concept store Charles-Kijn!
The labels were a big challenge, as they had to be designed from scratch, and I wanted them to be a price tag and business card in one. In the end I decided to finally put the tiny index cards, which I really love but had been lying around uselessly for at least a decade, to good use. Each one was hand stamped and then rolled through the typewriter, and after a very long process of trial and error with disqualified index cards flying all around the room, I finally found the right formula.
And in the midst of this process, the new logo for my business and my new Dutch website (made by my lovely brother in law Rob) was born! How lovely it is when it suddenly all works out…

Can you make me a warthog?
Hahaha, that’s actually not a bad idea
. I could try!
